In March of 2005 I was walking late night through China Town with Mareike. We were looking for a place to eat when we ran into Gavin and his girlfriend. As we all talked over dinner I remember feeling an overwhelming sense of purpose; like we had a common mission to accomplish. Two and a half years and two albums later I feel like we made good on that promise. Gavin and I shared many laughs and many tales on our journey through the Son of James and you can hear from his bass playing and his guitar leads that his musical contributions are all over this record. I would also like to thank the Beckwith family, the Websters, and Wendy and Jake for providing me space and peace to write many of these songs. And finally, thank you Fabio, Mike, Rob, Karen, Cory, Marci, Turi, Matthew, Noe, Ginostra, JOB, Pashon, Dom, The Rish, Flynst, Nansy, Mario Pruiti, Libya Van Wilmahoussen, Bovinious.
